Valkyries

Greetings & welcome to the webpage of the Valkyries. We are a small household of members of the SCA, located in the Kingdom of Aethelmearc. We are a group of friends, who strive to have a strong artistic side along with having a strong martial presence. We're mainly female fighters, who are also very interested in the arts. We embroidery, brew, paint, twirl fire, sew & of course hit guys with rattan. Our members are interested in diverse areas, from heraldry to thrown weapons. We take an active role within the Society, and with working events. The Valkyries are also affiliated with several other households and guilds.

We value honesty, chivalrous, and trustworthy members. To be a Valkyrie is not a right, it is a privilege and honor. You don't have to be female (or Viking), we value our male counterparts also. We hold our group to a high moral standard, therfore we have strict requirements for members.
